If the first thing you do in the morning is check your Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts, then we want to talk to you! If you also happen to love art, can you come in tomorrow? We’re hiring a part-time (in the immediate term) social media coordinator with the opportunity to become a full-time (within 2-3 months) team member. You should be a social media addict who’s passionate about the convergence of art and technology, and wants to be part of the pioneering team that makes art collecting accessible to everyone.
Who We Are
Jen Bekman Projects (JBP) uses the power of the Internet to bring the value and joy of collecting art to a wider audience than has ever been possible. JBP consists of three programs: 20x200 is the pioneering website that offers curated, limited-edition art at ridiculously affordable prices; Hey, Hot Shot! is a critically-acclaimed international photography competition that discovers, recognizes and promotes photographers at all stages of their careers; and the Jen Bekman Gallery exhibits photography, works on paper, paintings and mixed media.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
Implementing engagement strategies on all major social platforms—Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and Pinterest—on behalf of all JBP programs, with a particular focus on 20x200.
Providing high-level reporting across social channels, and leveraging data and insights to take advantage of opportunities to drive traffic and sales.
Monitoring tweets, wall posts and comments and escalating to the appropriate departments.

Are creative and able to communicate within our brand’s tone and voice.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have an understanding of the art industry and experience managing social media required.
