What would a world without corporate identity be like? As a student of branding, Andrew Miller set out to find out. These two images are from his “100 days” project entitled Brand Spirit, whereby every day, for 100 days, he painted one object completely white to remove all visual branding and, as he puts it, “reduce the object to its purest form.” Brand Spirit was picked up across the blogosphere by everyone from swissmiss to Huffington Post, and in an interview with Adweek, Miller says the project “can be interpreted as a celebration of the brands I chose, or as a criticism of consumer society.”
